Scott is an accomplished business leader with more than 30 years of experience across all marketing disciplines. He has worked on numerous business and product launches in a career that includes senior management positions at major advertising and communications firms Chiat /Day, Y&R, Grey Global, Ketchum and Porter Novelli. As a business development professional, he is responsible for generating over $500 million in business for regional to global firms. He’s worked with organizations including Omnicom, Nissan, Toyota, General Mills, CBS, Saatchi & Saatchi, Ford, Porter Novelli, Dollar/Thrifty, Central Atlanta Progress, MARTA and more, providing strategic and tactical counsel under his Breakaway Consulting company.
In 2009 he co-founded analytics firm Sentiment360, pioneering automated online sentiment analysis for businesses and organizations and political campaigns. Sentiment360 was sold to a UK investor in 2012. In 2018 Scott co-founded cybersecurity reputation management firm Group Salus, a first mover in the area of organization and communications management around cybersecurity issues for small and medium size businesses.
Scott is active in various organizations including the Technology Association of Georgia, The Atlanta Fintech Task Force, Central Atlanta Progress, The Atlanta Metro Chamber.
